Our history

In 2020, I was heavily pregnant in my garage, among seeds, seedlings, and bulbs. The notes about the plants were wet and muddy with soil. My phone was no help – it quickly became too many notes and far too difficult to keep organized.

I thought there had to be a smarter way to keep track of everything you do with your garden, a way to gather all the information, all the notes and inspiration. I also realized the importance of a Community where you can discuss and help each other. Some time before that, I had built a platform on social media and worked as a creative in home & garden on the side.

Many of my followers started asking questions about my garden, so I saw the growing interest in talking about gardening and gardening. With a background in fintech, I came up with what I had been missing - an app where I could gather everything about my garden in one place.

On the other side of the fence lived our neighbor Jonas Öberg, a developer. He agreed with the need. We got started and Oh!Garden saw the light of day.
